Tigo is operated by tigoLabs. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. What we collect

• Beta signup form: name, email address, number of clients, current software, and pain point description.
• Usage data: when you use Tigo, we process documents you and your clients submit (invoices, receipts, messages) solely to provide the service.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and page visits via server logs. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies.

2. How we use your data

• To provide and improve Tigo's accounting automation features.
• To respond to your beta signup and communicate about the service.
• To ensure compliance with tax regulations (Verifactu, MTD) on your behalf.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data storage and security

• All data is stored on servers located in the European Union.
• Document transmission via WhatsApp uses the official WhatsApp Business API with end-to-end encryption.
• We use HTTPS with HSTS preload, and apply strict security headers on all responses.
• Access to client data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

4. Third-party services

• Resend — for sending transactional emails (beta signup notifications).
• WhatsApp Business API — for client document collection and communication.
• Accounting integrations (Xero, QuickBooks, Holded, Sage) — connected only with your explicit authorization via OAuth.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Request data portability.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Beta signup data is retained for up to 12 months after the beta period ends. You can request deletion at any time.
